Hatebreed forced to miss first three shows of Machine Head tour: Caliban to step in
Connecticut hardcore/metal masters Hatebreed are forced to miss the first three shows of "The Black Procession" tour with Machine Head and Bleeding Through. They will be replaced at those dates by Germany's Caliban.

Affected shows:

Jan. 23 - Stuttgart, Ger @ Schleyerhalle
Jan. 25 - Wiesbaden, Ger @ Schlachthof
Jan. 26 - Hamburg, Ger @ Grosse Freiheit

"Say Hello To Tragedy", the seventh album from Caliban, sold around 550 copies in the United States in its first week of release. The CD landed at No. 97 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart, which lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists, defined as those who have never appeared in the Top 100 of The Billboard 200.

"Say Hello To Tragedy"entered the German Media Control chart at position No. 36. The Lp also debuted at No. 71 on the official Download chart.

"Say Hello To Tragedy" was released in Europe on August 24, 2009 via Century Media Records (one day later in the U.S.). The follow-up to 2007's "The Awakening" was once again produced by Benny Richter, co-produced by guitarist Marc Goertz and was mixed by Killswitch Engage guitarist Adam Dutkiewicz. The artwork for the CD was created by Basti Basti of Callejon, who has previously worked with such bands as Heaven Shall Burn and War From A Harlots Mouth.
